Job Description
We are looking for a full time technical writer for developing documentation projects related to our Java- and OSGi-based products. Such projects imply creating manuals for software installation and setup, user's guides and programmer's guides. You will also assist in writing software requirements specifications, proposals and requests for proposals.
Responsibilities
- Writing HTML-based user documentation in a comprehensive manner
- Analyzing software requirements specifications
- Assisting in finalizing technical documentation for a specific customer
This position is based in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Requirements
- Good to very good university degree in technology or languages: Bachelor or Master's Degree
- Fluent spoken and written English, additional language abilities helpful
- At least 2 years of practical work experience in the technical communication field
- Solid knowledge of HTML, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Office
- Basic knowledge of Java development and modelling methods
- Basic knowledge and experience related to OSGi and embedded systems desirable (embedded OS, CPU architectures, interfaces)
- A dedicated team player also accustomed to working independently and autonomously
